Grant, I woke up from a dream this morning in which I sat with you and a reporter in the back of a car driving through city streets, while you talked to the reporter about how you recently had the opportunity to have a conversation with the Joker at Arkham Asylum, but it was only 15 minutes long because psychiatrists had determined that 15 minutes was the longest anyone could talk with the Joker before they started to experience psychosis and homicidal urges. You told the reporter it was difficult to communicate with someone whose brain operated in such an alien way because there wasn't a lot of common ground in the way you and the Joker perceived the world around you. You talked about it in a casual, detached, clinical way, but you were clearly shaken and uncomfortable from your time spent with the Joker. I asked how this might tie in with themes in comics you've written in the past, but my alarm went off just before you could reply.
