Happy Birthday Grant. I once drunkenly spilled my guts to you in Las Vegas about your work helping me cure my own cancer. Update: the spell is still working.

Happy birthday Grant. I absolutely can not wait to see how exactly you cause me to descend into madness.

Love you Grant, happy birthday. You've given me so much joy these past several decades it was an easy choice to grab an annual subscription. Hope you have a lovely day and very excited to see what you come up with.

Well what would substack be without lots of comments? Happy birthday to Grant. Been reading since Future Shocks in 2000AD circa 1987. Reading Zenith, it was obvious this guy was different, on another level. Still working up the courage to re-read the entire The Invisibles, 22 years later.

Happy birthday, though with news like this I feel like it’s my birthday, all of our birthdays, heck perhaps today is now all birthdays at once day. Wherein everyone has 30-40 min of deep but feeling joy, followed by the long sad waiting period for another hit of ABAOD. Anywho, cheers, excited to sub to (for?) you anytime…

Happy birthday, Grant! I love Momus so much - one of the most underrated creators of this era. I just listened to “Folktronic” last night for the first time in years - still my favorite one.

“ ‘Moon Of Alabama’ is my favourite country tune

It’s got lyrics by a communist and music by a Jew

And when those fellers wrote it they were living in Berlin

I guess that is a symbol of the world we’re living in”
