28/5 The Spring Salon - Part Eight

Lovely Spring effloresces in green, and the vernal Salon’s end is upon us. Like most ends it’s only temporary!
A new beginning will be along soon enough making the whole idea of endings look a bit spurious…
This season’s kittens are already a couple of weeks old. The swallows line the wires (it blows my mind they fly all the way to and from Africa back to the little nests in the eaves where I see them being born and rearing chicks of their own) and the tadpoles are thriving in the culvert, a bumper amphibian crop this season!
The frogs find themselves vying in the bumper stakes with this week’s leviathan Salon! This hyper-Zeppelin of chat and counter-chat will test the patience of a saint, all the saints!
