28/3 Seaguy Week - Seaguy Eternal Script

As promised, the opening scene from the never drawn conclusion to the Seaguy trilogy: Seaguy Eternal featuring more details from the apocalyptic last standoff with Anti-Dad, leading us into the story proper, which opens sometime after the overthrow of the Mickey Eye regime at the end of Seaguy: Slaves of Mickey Eye.

Also included are the (very rough in this case) thumbnails I did prior to writing the script.

We see a society in the process of purging its lovely illusions, facing up to a new reality where fantasies like these will no longer suffice to the hard challenges of tomorrow! Lacking in inspiration and innovation, however, they’re flailing.

Doc Hero’s fading memory provided me with an opportunity to create this last dreamlike cascade of hero names and secret identities…

Fun fact: when I announced that the title of the next Seaguy volume would be Seaguy Eternal, it didn’t take long before the name was nicked for Batman!!! Typical billionaire!
