BAD ROBOT
The only colour drawing in the batch is this armed robot from 1980, inspired I think by the cover illustration for the 1971 edition of Clifford Simak’s City (Rian Hughes, the expert on vintage sci-fi covers reckons the artist was Chris Moore) – the only science fiction book I loved when I was a kid. By this age, I preferred drawing human bodies and didn’t enjoy cars, machines, and robots, so this is a rare attempt.
