Annie goes ahead with the contest, though, and shortly after winning her crown, gets kidnapped by Windom Earle, who steals Pete’s pickup truck and hauls her into The Woods, and then into The Black Lodge, which opens only during the •perfect• positioning of JUPITER and SATURN and only when Fueled by FEAR, •or• LOVE.
Cooper goes in after them, and when he finds Annie, he assumes she’s dead, but she tells him, “You must be mistaken; I’m Alive.”
